Time in Texas (Early June 2024)

Hey all,

Over Memorial Day weekend I was able to travel to Texas to host a CG Pickleball camp at Sage Hill Inn and Spa with Michelle King out in Kyle, just outside of Austin. It was a ton of fun. Camps are one of my favorite ways to spend time and connect with the pickleball community. After camp, Deep Eddy Vodka sponsored my new drink, The Twoey-Tini, and we did a little tutorial for you that is now up on my instagram. Check it out!

After camps were done, I spent Sunday out on a boat on Lake Austin. We wakeboarded and it was nice to have a day off to relax and enjoy the water. One perk of being on the PPA tour is getting to meet new people and seeing different parts of the country. I love to get out and explore new cities and even though I've been to Austin a handful of times now, it seems like I always find something new there.

When the weekend was over, I travelled to Dallas to get situated and get ready for the tournament. Unfortunately, Christian needed to pull out of men's doubles, but I had a ton of fun playing in a new mixed partnership with Callie Jo Smith. She always brings the energy and is a fierce competitor.

This week I'm in Sacramento, California. I came straight from Dallas to give myself time to acclimate. There's a little less humidity here which is a nice change. This week I am back playing with Tyler Loong, who I took silver with in Minnesota. I'm also back playing with my former Chicago Slice teammate Susannah Bar. It's going to be a great week.

After Sacramento, I have a week in Lake Tahoe, teaching camps and hanging out with friends. It's always a nice way to stay on the pickleball court, but like I said, connect with all of you. If you're ever interested in coming to a camp the easiest way to see those is by following my instagram page where I post updates most frequently here.

Lastly, I just wanted to say thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to seeing you all out on tour. Being on the road doesn't feel so lonely when I feel like I've met so many incredible people and made so many friends along the way. See you soon!
