Summer is Heating Up (Late June)
Hey all,
I can't believe it's already been 2 weeks. I feel like time is flying right now. This last week I was able to travel to Tahoe to teach some camps. It is such a beautiful area. I know I've said this before, but I love that pickleball allows me to travel and explore different parts of the country. I already have a trip to Tahoe for next year in the works, so if you live in the area or if you would like an excuse to go visit Tahoe, keep an eye out for those dates. Just know I'll definitely be back next summer.
Before heading to Tahoe, I played in PPA Sacramento. All I can say about that is holy heat wave. I don't think I've played in hotter conditions. I think it clocked 103 on singles day. That being said, every time I compete I feel like I'm always learning and using any loses as building blocks for the next tournament.
That leads me to PPA San Clemente next week. I just got back to the OC last night. After being gone for 4 weeks it definitely feels nice to be sleeping in my own bed. Tournament prep is underway and I've been hitting the gym and drilling and back to my normal schedule. I'm definitely excited to be playing back on home turf. Southern California tournaments seem to be where I play my best pickleball so if you're in the area come check it out. Make sure to say hi if you see me at the tournament. It's always nice to connect in real life.
Lastly, I just wanted to say thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to seeing you all out on tour. Being on the road doesn't feel so lonely when I feel like I've met so many incredible people and made so many friends along the way. See you soon!
